LARS BERGAN
I believe passionately in the role that the organics recycling industry can play in the regeneration of our soils, the reduction of CO2, and the conservation of landfill space. From mulch and compost to animal bedding and biofuel, Rotochopper owners are helping to cycle carbon and keep the world clean!
I have been working as a Rotochopper sales rep since 1999. Born in Chicago and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in English, History, and Economics. Before coming to Rotochopper at age 27, I worked as a financial analyst in New York City, a researcher for the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., and a Fulbright Scholar in Kingston, Jamaica.
I live with my wife, Corina, and our two boys in southwestern Wisconsin. When I’m not working, I spend my time farming, playing basketball, reading, writing, or volunteering at the Youth Initiative High School.

I have been working with Rotochopper since May 2009. My career at Rotochopper began with a fabrication position at our manufacturing facility in St. Martin, MN. My fabrication duties gave me the experience and knowledge of how Rotochopper machines are built from start to finish. I then joined the Rotochopper Customer Service department as a product specialist. As a product specialist, I had the privilege to travel the globe commissioning and servicing Rotochopper equipment. My travels gave me the opportunity to see the full line of Rotochopper equipment in many unique settings, processing many different feedstocks. This experience helps me understand the needs of our customers and the markets we serve.
I live in La Crosse, WI with my wife, Robyn, daughter, Hazel, and son, Zeke. I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting whitetail deer and all things outdoors.
As a Rotochopper Rep, my goal is to understand your equipment needs and show you how Rotochopper equipment can help advance your business goals.
